The New iPad

I can’t believe it’s finally here! The brand new iPad 3 … I mean, the brand new iPad HD … ugh I mean the new iPad. Names aside, there really is a great reason why the new iPad wasn’t officially called the iPad 3, and that’s mainly due to the backlash over the iPhone 4S not being named the iPhone 5. Apple, in keeping with tradition with many of their other products, has finally dropped the number on the iPad lineup, and look forward to seeing that trend continue with the new iPhone. This way any future update to the iPad and iPhone lineup will be noted by what makes them unique, not by a number which only serves to confuse people who were expecting “a bigger number”.
